After church, we took the children from the Rosa de Amor orphanage to McDonalds for lunch. It was a special treat for them, as they don't get out very often.Tuesday, July 7, 2009

- Charlie and Karen Weaver are serving in Guatemala with Orphan Resources International. Charlie does construction and maintenance work at various orphanages and helps to organize the many work teams who come to serve with ORI throughout the year. Karen homeschools the children and cares for the family. Nick (21) helps with food deliveries to the orphanages and serves as ORI's official photographer. Ben (18) helps with food deliveries and does construction work. Alisha (15) and Emily (12) love to visit the orphanages and help take care of babies and play with the children. Maria (8)and Antonio(4) like to ride bike and play outside with their friends.
