Food Delivery to Rosa de Amor

We received an "emergency" phone call one Saturday morning from the director of the Rosa de Amor orphanage. "We have no food. Can you please help us?" Charlie and I (along with the Lehmans) collected rice, beans, sugar, and powdered milk from the ORI warehouse and drove across the city to deliver it.

The children were beaming as they helped to unload the food from the truck and carry it into the kitchen. The director was so grateful that she thanked us again and again.

There are currently 18 children at this orphanage, including several with special needs.
